Selling your watch via Caliber & Time is easy! Visit the ‘Sell a Watch’ page of our website and provide as much information as you can about the watch along with a few pictures. Kindly note that all listings (advertisements) must include a list price and sellers must complete the security formalities before listing. The listings will be checked by the Caliber & Time team before being approved. It may take up to 72 hours for a listing to be approved. Once approved sellers will be required to pay the listing (advertisement) fee of $7 before the listing is visible to other users.

Yes, Caliber & Time allows for the trading of wristwatches; simply add that you are ‘Open to a trade with a suitable watch’ in the description section of our ‘Sell a Watch’ page. You may also message a seller and inform your intention to trade his listed timepiece. Users reserve the right to accept or decline any such offers. Caliber & Time is not a party to these transactions and does not interfere.

Yes, wristwatches with original box and papers generally command a higher value and can be listed at a higher price as compared to the same watch without original box and papers.

Pro Tip: Upon purchase of a new watch, always keep the original box and papers in a safe place as they can help with better pricing for resale.

While the emphasis of Caliber & Time is on luxury mechanical wristwatches from credible watchmakers, other types of watches including good quality quartz and digital watches, Micro brand watches, good quality homage watches and premium smartwatches can all be sold. We strongly discourage the sale of fashion watches made by apparel companies with no credible heritage in horology. 

Warning: Sale and listing of replicas, first copies and fakes is strictly prohibited. Any such listing will be immediately deleted and may result in the termination of the user account. Listings or accounts on which we take any action will not be refunded or otherwise credited to your account.

Every now and then, an authorized dealer or a professional dealer may list a brand-new watch for sale. You may also find watches from users who have bought a new watch and never worn it even once; such watches may even have tags, stickers and original packaging still intact. Yes, buyers can expect to find brand-new, unused watches on this platform.

For ease of conversion and universal appeal, all watches are listed in US Dollars. Changing geo-political and socio-economic conditions may alter this in the near future; any such change will be duly notified.

If you change your mind regarding selling your watch or the watch has been sold, or if you simply wish to delete the listing, you may navigate to your profile, click on the listing you want to delete and click the ‘delete’ button provided below the listing. Alternatively, you may click the sold button in which event your listing will become inactive and will not be visible.

All paid listings are provided for a period of one year or till the watch is marked as sold or deleted by the seller. After one year the listing may be automatically deleted or the seller may renew the listing for one more year by paying the listing fee again. Listings of watches that have been sold may be saved separately on the sold section of Caliber & Time or may be deleted altogether.

Yes, your listing can be shared with friends, on Social Media and via Instant Messaging by simply clicking the share button provided below your listing. You may also copy-paste the URL of your listing page and share the link. 

To view your listings you need to be signed in. Once you have signed in, go to your profile and from the drop-down list, select ‘My Listings’. You can see all your listings here. Users may refer to our ‘Listing Policy’ for more details.

Caliber & Time charges a nominal listing fee. Listings are displayed for one year along with details, images and the complete set of features including communications and reviews. maintaining these data sets and features is an expensive affair. As such we have a strict non-refundable policy with regard to the nominal listing fee once the service is purchased.

When the said timepiece is available Caliber & Time will initiate contact with both parties as a facilitator. Caliber & Time will charge a commission of 4% (2% each from the buyer and seller) on the final sale price.
