Selling a Watch
Selling your watch via Caliber & Time is easy! Visit the ‘Sell a Watch’ page of our website and provide as much information as you can about the watch along with a few pictures. Kindly note that all listings (advertisements) must include a list price and sellers must complete the security formalities before listing. The listings will be checked by the Caliber & Time team before being approved. It may take up to 72 hours for a listing to be approved. Once approved sellers will be required to pay the listing (advertisement) fee of $7 before the listing is visible to other users.
Yes, Caliber & Time allows for the trading of wristwatches; simply add that you are ‘Open to a trade with a suitable watch’ in the description section of our ‘Sell a Watch’ page. You may also message a seller and inform your intention to trade his listed timepiece. Users reserve the right to accept or decline any such offers. Caliber & Time is not a party to these transactions and does not interfere.

We strongly discourage the sale of fashion watches made by apparel companies with no credible heritage in horology.

If you change your mind regarding selling your watch or the watch has been sold, or if you simply wish to delete the listing, you may navigate to your profile, click on the listing you want to delete and click the ‘delete’ button provided below the listing. Alternatively, you may click the sold button in which event your listing will become inactive and will not be visible.
All paid listings are provided for a period of one year or till the watch is marked as sold or deleted by the seller. After one year the listing may be automatically deleted or the seller may renew the listing for one more year by paying the listing fee again. Listings of watches that have been sold may be saved separately on the sold section of Caliber & Time or may be deleted altogether.
To view your listings you need to be signed in. Once you have signed in, go to your profile and from the drop-down list, select ‘My Listings’. You can see all your listings here. Users may refer to our ‘Listing Policy’ for more details.
Caliber & Time charges a nominal listing fee. Listings are displayed for one year along with details, images and the complete set of features including communications and reviews. maintaining these data sets and features is an expensive affair. As such we have a strict non-refundable policy with regard to the nominal listing fee once the service is purchased.

When the said timepiece is available Caliber & Time will initiate contact with both parties as a facilitator. Caliber & Time will charge a commission of 4% (2% each from the buyer and seller) on the final sale price.
